I saw this book a few days ago on an advertisement and I was captivated not only by the cover of the book but also by the title of the book, especially ‘The Attack of Catman and the Meows’

My experience reading Ratman and Robin pushed me to write this review
I was really impressed by the content of the book:
• the development of the characters
• Profound plot
• the explosive action
• the suspense
• the humor
Surprisingly, I was really in awe of the K.A. Bolton’s writing style, thoughtful expressions, very very detailed description and word usage. I think the author did a great job of writing the story in a way that you can see it unfold visually as you read. He really gave the characters their unique personalities.

Finally, one of the most difficult things to do is to conclude a story to a satisfactorily apex that makes you want to read it again. However, I think the author did a great job with bringing the story to an exceptional ending, although I didn’t want it to end.

If you don't have a child to read this story to, it's still a sweet slip back into youthful imagination and reminds you how easy it was to perceive conditions, animals, or events in your mind that age and experience gradually replace with reality. Too bad, some times imagination is an appealing respite.

Difficult to get characters fully fleshed in a story of this length, but perhaps not so if you've kept in mind that we are talking about a rat (shudder) and a bird. The challenge of the well-plotted narrative is to develop a great, action-packed adventure that would engage a child and provide tension and suspense, and it does.

The plot introduces Billy and his family, the Pottinger's, and generally keeps the dialogue simple whether between humans or animals, but stays within a relative age bracket for the most part, gradually introducing adult-sized words and verbiage.

Really cute idea for the dastardly deed that Ratman and Robin need to solve--and something that most young'uns could identify with and understand, although I did have a small problem with regard to the decade the adventure might have occurred, as well as a few edit misses. The storyline, however, draws to a happy and successful conclusion, no one more the wiser, although I had to chuckle a bit over the role given Catman and his Meows. 3.5/5
It was good because of the reverse it made it funny
Ratman and Robin–The Attack of Catman and the Meows is a tale of intrigue and mystery sure to engage young readers in the quest to figure out what’s going in the Pottinger’s neighborhood. When the main characters, Birdie and Squeaker, get wind of strange goings-on in their neighborhood, they are drawn into one action-packed episode after another—each one more mysterious than the last. The story is well-written and easy to follow while challenging young readers to expand their vocabulary. Great book to read to younger children or to have older children read on their own. I highly recommend.
Great Read!! The tale of Ratman and Robin proves to be a very entertaining book with a suspenseful plot that held my interest until the very end of the book. The descriptive writing style of the author caused the book to come a live in my imagination and made me eager to see the next bit of puzzle. Great plot, developed characters, suspense and intrigue. I would without reservation recommend this book to anyone, young or old! Great Job!
Ratman and Robin got my 2nd grader to start reading. She had HATED reading and had seriously been struggling until she read this book. She read the book multiple times and all of a sudden she was hooked on reading for good. Some of the words are a little advanced but it gets her to look them up on google or ask me what they means.
