be aware that this handbook is printed totally in black and white (except for the cover). had I known I wouldn't have purchased it as colors and shading with colors shows a better picture of charts and graphs. I have an earlier version printed in full color. Their is no comparison other than the newer one has updated information. Section charts and maps are shown with so many shades of gray it's hard to separate elevations and so on. I think it should be stated that it is not printed in color when a person is considering purchasing this book. This is a total step backwards for printing of such important information. Am I being to picky? Maybe, but open an older version and then compare it to the newer version. which one would you want to read? I would have paid more for a color version.Product details

The book was an outdated revision (by 2 years) and also was not printed in color
I should have read the reviews. This is printed in black and white, and is slightly out of focus. Text on the graphics is almost unreadable in most instances because there is no color. Do yourself a favor and buy the normal ASA version.
